Job Description

Our client is looking for a skilled and detail-driven Control Panel Wiring Technician to independently assemble and wire industrial electrical control panels from start to finish. This is a hands-on role where your craftsmanship, precision, and technical ability directly impact the performance and reliability of the systems their clients depend on every day.

If you enjoy working with your hands, solving technical challenges, and seeing a complex project come together piece by piece — this role offers the opportunity to build, troubleshoot, and lead meaningful work.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Read and interpret detailed wiring schematics for multiple clients
  • Independently build complete industrial control panels from start to finish
  • Accurately route, label, terminate, and organize wiring
  • Prepare wire labels, markers, and identification components
  • Ensure builds meet quality, safety, and company standards
  • Safely and proficiently operate shop equipment and power tools
  • Use hand tools such as wire strippers, cutters, screwdrivers, drills, and measuring tools with precision
  • Follow established build procedures and best practices
  • Communicate effectively through email and internal systems
  • Follow detailed work instructions while also asking questions when clarification is needed
  • Continuously improve your understanding of schematics, layouts, and panel design methods
  • Travel to client sites when installation or on-site work is needed
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and high-quality workmanship

Required Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of electrical control wiring schematics
  • Proficiency using hand tools and shop equipment
  • Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to follow direction, communicate clearly, and work independently
