The Quote Administrator coordinates all non-standard quote activity and responses for external and internal customers, to include manufactured products and spares, as well as limited back-up support for repair services during peak periods or personnel absences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Monitor incoming requests for non-standard quotes, including proposals and other non-standard activities.
Review new requests for completeness and obtain additional information from appropriate parties, as necessary.
Maintain non-standard quote tracking including logging new requests, progress, and completed quotes.
Research new requests for current/previous pricing, part number validation and other relevant information necessary for the pricing process.
Determine distribution and task appropriate departments.
Gather information required to price and submit to Pricing.
Prepare quotes and submit to appropriate parties.
Support and serve as back-up for pricing activities and associated quotes/requests.
Maintain a working knowledge of product offering and contract pricing to facilitate communication on non-standard quote requests.
Serve as a point of contact and facilitator for non-standard quote processing for internal communications and customer requests.
Work with all departments to obtain appropriate information for pricing and proposal submittals.
Facilitate meetings as needed for task accomplishment and for the purpose of team coordination and updates.
Perform such individual assignments as directed.
Exercise continuous controls over all assigned quoting activities.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, business unit, Corporation, and our community.
Maintain and grow the professional competence, knowledge, and skills necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assignedresponsibilities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Technical and analytical business skills as typically evidenced by completion of bachelors degree (business, finance or marketing) or commensurate experience.
Strong oral and written communication and customer service skills.
Intermediate to advanced level experience using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Adobe Acrobat including the ability to learn new software.
