What’s the opportunity?

Be part of a growing commercial team supporting a high-performing mining operation, where your work directly enables site performance through strong contracts and procurement practices.

This is a hands-on Contracts Specialist role offering broad exposure across the operation, not a siloed portfolio. You’ll manage multiple contracts, work closely with operations and suppliers, and play a key role in improving how procurement and contract management is delivered on site.

This position suits someone experienced, practical and self-driven, comfortable working autonomously, managing competing priorities, and building strong working relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Based at our Mungari Operations on a 5:2 / 4:3 roster (10-hour days) and reporting to the Supply Superintendent, you’ll:

• Keep the operation moving by managing procurement and contract activities that support production, maintenance and capital works
• Lead and support end-to-end tender processes, including developing scopes of work, engaging suppliers and evaluating submissions
• Negotiate commercial terms and drive value through cost savings, performance improvements and strong supplier relationships
• Manage contract documentation, registers and compliance to ensure governance requirements are consistently met
• Work closely with operations, maintenance and Group Supply to deliver aligned, efficient commercial outcomes
• Resolve supplier issues relating to pricing, delivery and quality to maintain continuity of supply
• Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen procurement and contract management practices on site

Does this sound like you?

• Residing locally within the Kalgoorlie/Boulder region
• 5+ years’ experience in contracts, procurement or supply within mining or heavy industry
• Strong, practical experience managing multiple contracts in a site-based operational environment
• Proven ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced setting
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated negotiation capability
• Experience across tendering, scope development and supplier management
• ERP system experience (Pronto, SAP or similar)
• Qualification in supply chain, procurement, business or similar (desirable, not essential)
