Contracts Manager

As a contract manager, you use your sharp negotiation tactics and talent for organization to help manage critical documents. We need you to bring your advanced contract managementexpertiseto our Other Transaction (OT) team, whereyou’llbe a trusted advisor and a valuable team member who finds creative solutions to complex problems for an advanced technology company.
On our team,you’lluse your advanced contracting knowledge to capture, implement, and manage a range of proposals and contracts within various markets. In this role,you’lltouch every element of government acquisition, from beginning stages to completion.You’llreview and analyze solicitations for potential risks, guide suggested proposalstrategies, andadviseleadership on risk mitigation strategies.
As a trusted business partner,you’llprovide full lifecycle support with a focus on terms and conditions negotiation, whitepaper and proposal support, project execution, and risk mitigation for OT prototype and follow-on production contracts or agreements.You'llprovide expert advice and counsel to account executives and their program leadership on contractual matters, including contract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, organizational conflict of interest, risk management, mitigation, and intellectual property negotiations, andmonitoroperational performance. Additionally,you'llsupport complex contract activity that requires the development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques toaccomplishbusiness goals andobjectives

You Have:
4+years offederal contractexperiencesupporting U.S. Government programs
Experience in negotiations or proposal preparation
Experience managing Other Transactions, including research, prototype or production OT agreements
Knowledge of the federal acquisition regulations and non-FAR acquisition environments, including FAR, DFARS, and the Other Transaction (OT) authority frameworks
Ability to advise onappropriate acquisitionapproaches
Ability to support complex contract activity that requires the development of specialized contract vehicles and techniques toaccomplishbusiness goals andobjectives
Ability to draft non-routine contractual instruments and use independent judgment and creativity to resolve contractual issues
Ability to review and interpret solicitation requirements, contractual terms and conditions, statement of work, and compliance obligations
Ability to work independently while exercising sound business judgement and risk assessment
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with DoD Software Acquisition Pathway
Knowledge of intellectual property, data rights,andexport controlrequirements related to OT agreements
Ability to manage robust contract portfolio ofvarious sizes, scope, and complexity
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
NCMA Professional Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
