The Contracts Manager will oversee commercial and contractual management for large-scale infrastructure and urban development projects. This role requires strong consulting experience, the ability to manage multi-contract environments, and expertise in contract administration, risk mitigation, procurement support, claims, and negotiation.
Prepare, review, negotiate, and manage contract documents for consultants, contractors, and suppliers
Administer contract lifecycle: tender preparation, pre-award evaluation, post-award management, and contract close-out
Ensure compliance with contract terms, deliverables, schedule requirements, and applicable regulations
Maintain contract registers, correspondence, change orders, insurance, guarantees, and approvals
Monitor contract budgets, payment applications, cash-flow forecasts, and financial exposure
Evaluate and manage variations, extensions of time, claims, and contractual disputes
Conduct cost impact assessments and provide recommendations to senior management
Prepare commercial analysis and support management in negotiation and settlement
Prepare tender documentation, scope definitions, commercial conditions, and evaluation criteria
Participate in bid evaluations and assist in negotiation of consultancy, construction, and service agreements
Coordinate with legal and technical teams on bid clarifications, contract conditions, and award recommendations
Identify contractual and commercial risks and propose mitigation strategies
Ensure adherence to relevant local regulations, international standards, and company policies
Support internal and external audits, monitoring KPIs and compliance indicators
Act as the commercial point of contact between consultants, contractors, project management teams, and client representatives
Facilitate decision-making on contractual issues and ensure clear communication between involved parties
Prepare and present contractual and commercial reports to management
Maintain accurate records of all contractual documents, amendments, correspondence, and commitments
Produce periodic reports on commercial status, pending claims, contract risks, and financial forecasts
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related discipline
10–15 years of relevant contract management experience in consulting or PMC environments
Proven track record in infrastructure, utilities, urban development, landscaping, roads, or government-managed projects
Strong understanding of FIDIC, consultancy agreements, EPC contracts, subcontract agreements, and procurement procedures
Experience managing multiple contracts simultaneously within a governmental or semi-governmental project framework
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office, document control tools, and contract management systems
