Job Description

WSP is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead and manage all contract-related activities for a major high-rise project in Doha. The role requires strong expertise in prime contract administration, commercial management, and stakeholder coordination within a PMCM environment.

  • Lead full lifecycle contract management for the high-rise project, from pre-award to closeout.

  • Administer prime contracts and ensure compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and obligations.

  • Review, draft, and negotiate contractual correspondences, variations, claims, EOTs, and commercial reports.

  • Manage and support dispute resolution processes, including claim analysis and recommendations.

  • Coordinate with project managers, QS teams, design consultants, and contractors to ensure effective contract governance.

  • Monitor contractor performance, risk exposure, and adherence to KPIs.

  • Provide strategic contractual advice to senior management and stakeholders.

  • Ensure project compliance with FIDIC conditions of contract (Red/Yellow/Silver Book).

  • Prepare and present commercial and contractual updates for internal and client reporting.

  • Support procurement activities and tender reviews as needed.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of contract procedures, templates, and reporting tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (mandatory).

  • MRICS certification preferred / highly desirable.

  • Minimum 12+ years of overall experience, including:

    6+ years of direct prime contract management experience.

    Strong Middle East experience, preferably in Qatar.

  • Proven experience working on high-rise building projects.

  • Prior experience in a PMCM consultancy environment is essential.

  • Strong working knowledge of FIDIC forms of contract.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
