FILINVEST COMPANY: SHAREPRO, INC.

The Lead Contracts Engineer/Quantity Surveyor handles the process of bidding and awarding of the projects in assigned areas.

KEY FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.) SCOUTING OF RELIABLE CONTRACTORS

• Scout qualified contractors for various housing, MRBs, Open Space & Land Development Projects

2.) BIDDING OF ASSIGNED PROJECTS

• Issues "Invitation to Bid" to qualified contractors

• Prepares and reviews Bid Documents to determine complete project's parameter/scope of works

• Attends pre-bidding conferences

• Prepares detailed cost estimates in conformance with standard plans and specifications to come out with competitive project cost

• Evaluates proposals prior to issuance of clarifications to ensure the completeness of contractors' bid

• Endorse tender evaluation and recommendation for management approval

3.) AWARDING OF ASSIGNED PROJECTS

• Awards assigned projects within the approved TPRC budget

• Uploads project milestone in SAP to create PO for project monitoring and billing purposes

• Uploads project milestone in HCOM for housing projects

4.) EVALUATING CHANGE ORDERS, REPAIR WORKS AND BUDGETARY COST ESTIMATES

• Evaluates change orders to validate/check the discrepancies between bid and construction plans

• Evaluates repair works and budgetary cost estimates based on current market price

5.) OTC AND PROJECT MONITORING
