Position Overview
- We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Contracts & Compliance Specialist to join our team.
- You will be responsible for comprehensive legal document management, contract administration, compliance oversight, and policy development across the organization.
- This role serves as the primary point of contact for ensuring internal and external agreements are accurate, compliance processes operate smoothly, and company policies remain current and effective.
- The ideal candidate will have strong drafting and analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with our global team across multiple compliance and legal workstreams.
Responsibilities
- Draft, revise, and manage contracts including sales contracts, employee agreements, vendor agreements, leases, and company policies.
- Provide compliance guidance to sales teams and support customer due diligence processes.
- Review internal content for compliance and coordinate timely stakeholder reviews.
- Execute embargo review processes, manage incident response procedures, and coordinate compliance training programs.
- Maintain and update company policies across all areas including travel, social media, and monitoring procedures.
- Track quarterly reporting requirements, manage external compliance partner communications, and ensure policy acknowledgments.
- Review vendor terms and agreements to ensure favorable conditions and compliance with company standards.
- Support intellectual property protection applications, including trademark filings and related documentation.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in contracts administration, compliance, or related legal roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong drafting and review capabilities for contracts, agreements, and policy documents, working independently.
- Experience with compliance procedures in professional services, financial, or research environments.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating with distributed teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with startups or high-growth companies.
- Familiarity with intellectual property processes and trademark applications.
- Knowledge of embargo regulations and international compliance requirements.
