We are currently looking for a Contracts Compliance Analyst I/II/Sr. in our Houston, TX office.

The Contracts Compliance Analyst ensures that all contractual obligations, both internal and external, are met in accordance with company standards, legal requirements, and industry regulations. This role provides post-execution contract compliance support by reviewing contract performance requirements, tracking key obligations, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance with contractual terms and company policy. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience in contract administration/management within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities
Contract Compliance & Governance
• Ensure all contractual obligations (internal and external) are met in accordance with company standards, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
• Review executed contracts to confirm alignment with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Validate that all terms, conditions, and deliverables are accurately reflected and adhered to.
• Identify and escalate non-conformance issues; recommend corrective actions and process improvements.
Performance Monitoring & Lifecycle Oversight
• Monitor contract performance, including verifying accuracy of weekly reports and invoice transmittals.
• Track key contract milestones, renewals, and obligations to ensure timely execution and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in contract management systems.
• Support internal audits and provide documentation for regulatory reviews.
Notice & Change Management
• Manage the Notice Provisions to ensure timely and accurate communication per contract terms.
• Oversee the Request for Information (RFI) process, ensuring proper documentation and resolution.
• Manage the Change Order process, including review, approval routing, and compliance verification.
Risk Management
• Assess contractual risks and collaborate with Legal and Supply Chain to implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure proper approvals and documentation are in place for all contractual changes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Legal, Supply Chain, Project Execution and Operations teams to resolve compliance issues and maintain contract integrity.
• Serve as a resource for internal stakeholders on contract standards, policies, and best practices.
Process Improvement & Reporting
• Contribute to the development and implementation of standardized contract compliance processes.
• Generate compliance reports and dashboards for leadership, highlighting trends and areas for improvement.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce compliance risk.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

• 2-5 years of experience in contract administration, compliance, procurement, project support, or quality assurance.
• Experience in a regulated industry (energy, construction, utilities, government, oil & gas)
• Strong understanding of contract terms, compliance requirements, and document control.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret agreements, scopes of work, and technical specifications.
• Strong communication and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree
