Contracts & CLM Administrator

Compensation: ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,000,000 / year

We are looking for a Contracts & CLM Administrator to assist with our contracting lifecycle processes. The role involves using our CLM system to combine contract process management, workflow management and first-pass contract review to ensure efficient, compliant, and scalable contracting.
You will work closely with legal counsel and cross-functional stakeholders to help our contracting processes, improve cycle times, and ensure contracts are executed, tracked, and stored in a structured and scalable way.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building processes, designing workflows, and making systems work better, while also engaging with the substance of commercial contracts.
The successful candidate will assist the owner of the CLM workflows, contract repository, templates, and reporting while conducting initial reviews of standard agreements and escalating complex legal issues to the legal team as appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end contracting process through the CLM platform, from intake to execution and storage.
• Perform first-pass review of standard agreements (e.g. NDAs, standard vendor agreements, sales contracts, amendments) using the legal playbook.
• Identify non-standard provisions and escalate to legal counsel where appropriate.
• Coordinate internal approvals across legal, procurement, finance, and commercial teams.
• Track contract execution and ensure accurate storage and metadata capture within the CLM repository.
• Monitor renewal dates, key contractual obligations, and contract lifecycle events.
  
  

• Contribute to day-to-day administration of the CLM platform, including configuration and workflow management.
• Assist with the design and maintenance of contract workflows, intake forms, approval routing, and automation rules.
• Help build and maintain contract templates, clause libraries, and document automation within the CLM environment.
• Troubleshoot system issues and ensure reliable platform performance.

  • Continuously improve contracting processes to reduce cycle times and remove bottlenecks.
  • Analyse contracting data and provide reporting on metrics such as cycle time, negotiation points, and workflow performance.
• Identify opportunities to introduce automation, standardisation, and improved templates.
• Support adoption of the CLM platform and best practices across the business.
  
  

• Act as the primary point of contact for CLM and contract process questions.
• Provide training and guidance to business users on contract workflows and tools.
• Work with legal counsel to maintain contracting playbooks and ensure templates reflect current legal and commercial policies.
  
  

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Experience in contract operations, legal operations, contract management, or commercial contract administration.
• Hands-on experience working with a contract lifecycle management platform such as Ironclad CLM, Icertis Contract Intelligence, DocuSign CLM, or Agiloft CLM.
• Experience reviewing and triaging standard commercial contracts using playbooks or fallback positions.
• Demonstrated ability to design or improve contract workflows and operational processes.
• Experience working cross-functionally with legal, sales, procurement, or finance teams.
  
  

• Strong process and systems thinking.
• Ability to translate legal and business requirements into structured workflows.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Comfortable working with contract data, reporting, and analytics.

• Experience supporting CLM implementations or workflow redesign projects.
• Experience working in a fast-growing or technology-driven organisation.
• Familiarity with contract automation, template management, and clause libraries.
• Experience with integrations between CLM and systems such as CRM or e-signature tools.
