
Develop and monitor the implementation of commercial and contractual strategies that support the Company's business objectives and growth plans.
Negotiate and manages contracts with customers, suppliers, and partners, including reviewing and drafting contracts, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Work closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure effective and efficient contract management and compliance.
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities, including market trends, competitive pressures, and regulatory changes.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners, and act as the main point of contact for all commercial and Supports business development initiatives, including identifying new business opportunities, developing proposals and business cases, and negotiating and closing deals.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of contractual and commercial performance, including monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators and metrics.
Work closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payment processes, and to manage disputes and claims related to contractual obligations.
Manage the contract database and ensure all contracts are up-to-date and properly documented.
Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on contract and commercial matters, including best practices, processes, and procedures.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and provide insights and recommendations to the concerned leadership team.
Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies
Extensive background on commercial/ contracts management.
Well versed in the business/operations of the industry landscape.
Advanced people management skills including involving staff in planning, decision making, facilitating and process improvement; providing regular performance feedback and developing subordinates’ skills to encourage their growth. Advanced interpersonal communication (written and oral) with the ability to speak eloquently and constructively.
Advanced delegation skills, with the ability to provide authority to work independently, set expectations and monitor delegated activities. Advanced strategic planning skills (long and short term).
ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
Minimum 8 years working experience, 5 years in a relevant supervisory position, 2 years GCC experience is a plus
