Mō te tūranga | About the role

Join Fulton Hogan as a Contracts Administrator in our Utilities team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Hastings District Council 3 Waters Maintenance contract.

You’ll sit at the centre of the team, helping keep the contract running smoothly through strong administration, accurate reporting, and organised record management. Your work will support day-to-day operations across water, wastewater, and stormwater maintenance, helping us deliver Good Work for our client and the wider community.

This is a part-time role, 25–30 hours per week, where you’ll be trusted to own your patch, keep things moving, and work alongside a down-to-earth team that backs each other and takes pride in doing the job properly.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support across the Hastings District Council 3 Waters Maintenance contract.
  • Maintain accurate contract records, job information, reports, and documentation systems.
  • Support monthly claims, invoicing, work order administration, and data entry.
  • Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and client representatives to keep work flowing well.
  • Help track performance, compliance, and reporting requirements across the contract.

  • Proven administration experience, ideally in utilities, maintenance, civil, or construction environments.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and confidence working across systems and databases.
  • Good attention to detail, time management, and the ability to stay on top of competing priorities.
  • An understanding of claims, invoicing, and finance processes would be an advantage.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
