Contracts Clerk
El Cajon, CA
The Contract Clerk Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly
Compensation of between $25.00 and $31.00.
The Contracts Clerk is responsible for receiving, processing, verifying, and posting deals

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Process & post up to 250 + car deals per month.
- Check deal paperwork for compliance.
- Post Bank fundings daily.
- Calculate sales commissions for payroll.
- Payoff flooring of sold vehicles daily.
- End of Month Car Count and verification.
- Issue Deal check requests.
- Post Factory program monies and reserves.
- Provide Sales Tax Exception backup & verify sales tax in deals daily.
- Research and reconcile accounting schedules, including New and Used inventory, Reserves, Due Bill, Contracts in Transit.
- Attend weekly CIT meetings.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Automotive Accounting Experience (Tekion preferred)
- Available to work flexible hours including weekends
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, & Outlook).
- Strong accounting skills
- Ability to multitask within a Multi Store environment
- Good Communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work closely in a Departmentalized Team environment.
- Positive attitude
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Must be highly organized, have excellent follow-up and be able to prioritize tasks.
- Must be able to work under pressure in a fast paced, high-volume atmosphere.
