
The Pediatric Weight Management Coordinator will implement, coordinate, and maintain the AAP Healthy Weight Clinic (HWC) Program, a collaborative initiative between HOPE Clinic and the Institute of Spirituality and Health. The Pediatric Weight Management Coordinator will facilitate the care of 12 pediatric patients and their family members as they navigate both onsite and offsite appointments, education sessions, and care needs.
TIME COMMITMENT:
20 hours per month for 1 year

HOPE Clinic is a non-profit, federally qualified health center (FQHC) with 4 locations in the greater Houston area. Established in 2002, HOPE Clinic provides comprehensive health care services to all regardless of their ability to pay. In particular, HOPE Clinic serves the uninsured, under insured, those with limited English proficiency, and the low-income. A unique characteristic of HOPE Clinic is its capacity to provide services in over 30 different languages, including: Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean, Burmese, Arabic, and Spanish.
