
Full Time Contractor - Career Technical Education Instructional Designer
ACCEL Schools is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as the Career Tech Education Instructional Designer. We are seeking professionals that prioritize student learning, life skills, career-based interventions, and career development. ACCEL Schools uses a cutting-edge 21st-century curriculum, which can be accessed online and through a variety of traditional methods.
This position will be a full-time contractor position for a minimum of 2 years with the opportunity to stay on longer if needed. The Career Tech Education Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality Career Technical Education (CTE) courses that align with national standards, industry-recognized credentials, and workforce needs. This role partners with subject matter experts (SMEs), teachers, and school leaders to create engaging, standards-aligned curriculum that prepares students for college, careers, and industry certifications. The Instructional Designer ensures that all courses are learner-centered, accessible, and optimized for both online and blended learning environments.

The hourly rate for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 with work limited to up to 40 hours per week unless otherwise approved. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
