DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Contracting & Bids Specialist, this Hybrid position will be located in Las Condes, Chile.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.
In this position you will be responsible formanaging tender and contract activities to meet targets and fulfill market demands, ensuring thetimelysubmission of bids, andmaintainingaccuratebid records. You will workclosely withthesales and marketing organization to ensure smooth operations. You will a ccomplish duties related to assignedbids & tenderscontracts and service agreements, from providing administrative and organizational support, through assisting with the implementation of contract administration processes and contract management systems. Furthermore, you will contribute to the fulfilment ofbids & tendercontracted terms and ensure the recording and documentation of all contract related data.
Key Responsibilities
Maintains a functional knowledge of theorganizationvarious productbids & tendercontracts and service agreements to promote customer awareness and understanding of applicable product features, business practices, and associated contractual implications.
Coordinates efficient and effective customer communications and contract management by ensuring allbids & tendercontract related information is entered into theorganizationcontract management system.
Helps review current contract administration and management processes and contributes to the implementation of new policies and process optimizations.
Initiates basic pre-sale and post-signature contract support duties including fulfilling due diligence requests, processing modifications, close-out tasks, communicating with contractedpartiesand answering inquiries.
Ensures the compliance and fulfillment ofbids & tendercontracted terms by communicating with the business unit team members and relevant cross-functional personnel.
Demonstrates Leadership Imperatives and Credo.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in any of the fields related to the job scope
Proven experience of effective contract management ensuring that allbids & tenderagreements are executed according to terms, mitigating risks and enhancing compliance.
Proficient office administration skills, which contribute to the smooth operation of daily activities,optimizingefficiencyand resource management.
Understanding regulatory compliance - critical for ensuring that all operations adhere to legal standards and industry regulations.
Experience in implementing effective sales enablementactivities, while supporting the sales team with the tools and resources they need to succeed.
Providing robust sales support to enhance the team's ability to close deals and build strong customer relationships.
Effective tender management skills, that involves coordinating and preparing bids to ensure competitiveness and compliance with client requirements.
Attention to detail, to identify the identification of potential issues early, leading to improved quality and accuracy in all tasks.
Strong collaboration skillsanddetail orientedproactivity toexecute ondeliverables of individual and teamgoals.
