The Louisiana Department of Education is seeking a contract/grant reviewer to join the Operational Support Services team. This role will serve as a primary contract reviewer for the agency, will support program offices in navigating the complexities of the contract and procurement regulations and processes, and will facilitate the contracting process for the agency from beginning to end. We are looking for candidates who believe in teamwork, accountability, are self-motivating, and process improvement oriented.

As a Contracts/Grant Reviewer 1, 2, or 3, you will:
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational, Promotional, or Job Appointment. Current permanent classified state employees may be required to accept a probationary appointment, if selected.
Work Location: The person hired for this position is expected to report to the Baton Rouge office as requested.
Career Progression: This position participates in a Career Progression Group. As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as an Contracts/Grants Reviewer 1, 2 or 3, depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant.
Work Schedule: Workdays' are Monday - Friday; work hours will be determined.
Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience. The pay ranges for each level are as follows:
Hourly: $20.20 - $35.40
Monthly: $3,501.33-$6,136
Annually: $42,016 – $73,632
Hourly: $22.73– $40.53
Monthly: $3,939.87– $7,025
Annually: $47,278.40 – $84,302
