Many parents want to lead meaningful family devotions—but feel overwhelmed, underprepared, or unsure where to begin. They are looking for resources that are theologically rich and realistic for busy homes.
We are seeking contract writers who can help meet those needs. If you are passionate about equipping families for faithful, everyday discipleship, we invite you to submit a complete proposal.
Scope of Work:
Commitment: Contract, per-project basis
Compensation: Determined per project
Additional Information:
Contractors are engaged based on the needs of specific projects and are not guaranteed ongoing or full-time work. Participation in meetings or collaborative sessions may be requested depending on project type and timeline.

Proposal Requirements
Important:Proposals that do not include all required components listed below cannot be reviewed.
AI Use:We strongly discourage the use of generative AI in book proposals, and we will not move forward with a book proposal if we detect generative AI is used to generate or refine sample devotionals.
Please submit all materials in asingle PDF(not a Word Doc or Google Doc) that includes:
1. Title and Subtitle
2. Controlling Idea (1–2 sentences)
3. One-Paragraph Summary
Provide a concise overview of the book’s purpose, scope, structure, and tone.
4. Target Audience Description (One of the Most Important Sections)Who this book is specifically for
5. Comparable Titles (2–3 from the Past 5 Years)
Identify 2–3 comparable books published within the last five years and explain:

Explain what uniquely qualifies you to write this book, including:
7. Devotional Outline Provide a working title, Scripture reference, and main point for each devotional entry. It should be clear how each entry supports the controlling idea and relates to the target audience.
8. At Least Five Complete Sample Devotions Submit at least five fully written devotional entries representative of the final manuscript.
9. Front and Back Matter (Optional) Describe any supplemental materials (e.g., introduction, family discussion guides, liturgies, prayers, reading plans, etc.).
