XLA is looking for a Contract Support Specialist to support a federal agency in Arlington, VA. This position is onsite position Monday-Friday.
Candidates must be local to the Arlington, VA area to be considered.
Target Annual Compensation Range for this role will be $65,000 to $75,000. There will also be a competitive benefits component to the package. The exact compensation at which this job is filled will be determined by the skills, experience, and location of the qualified candidate.
General Experience:
Must possess in-depth knowledge of Federal Contracting such as FAR and other regulations. Hands on experience that demonstrates expertise in contracting and procurement. Experience in establishing and implementing U.S. Government acquisition programs and policies.
7 Functional Responsibilities: Review Request for Contract packages, solicitations and contract files. Conduct Market Research. Review Cost/Price proposals and/or quotes. Prepare reports, document findings and other supporting
documentation. Processes orders and contract modifications. Maintains official documentation in files in accordance with the FAR and office procedures. Handles actions related to pre- and post-award. Prepares required correspondence.
Updates systems as required by the FAR and office procedures. Reviews documents and provides feedback as necessary.
Minimum Education/Certification/Experience: Must have bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years’ experience in
the field of Contracting and procurement or equivalent combination of formal education and experience (7 years of
directly related experience will substitute for education). FAC-C or DAWIA Certification in Contracting strongly preferred.
