Job Description

Contract Support Assistant (Entry)Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a Contract Support Assistant (Entry) to provide administrative and acquisition support to Contracting Officers within the Office of the Procurement Executive. In this role, you’ll assist with non-decisional, transactional, and documentation tasks that enable the Sponsor’s mission-critical acquisition activities. You’ll perform data entry, prepare contract files, and maintain organized records in compliance with Sponsor procedures. This position is ideal for someone detail-oriented and eager to learn the federal contracts process in a highly secure environment. Working closely with senior staff, you’ll gain exposure to procurement operations and contribute to the efficient execution of acquisition workflows. Requirements:
  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Must have at least two (2) years of work experience using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Must have one (1) year of administrative support experience, including tasks such as correspondence, customer service, scheduling, and filing.
  • Must have one (1) year of experience in contracts, office administration, finance, or program administration.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Active TS/SCI with ISSA clearance required.
Salary Range: A variety of factors can impact the final salary offered, including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and wage rates, relevant work experience, specialized skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
