In this role, you'll:
Work as part of the well-established Contract & Corridor Management team. You’ll play a key role in delivering efficient project and administrative support that keeps our programs moving.
You will manage day-to-day project coordination, maintain accurate documentation, and provide administrative services to senior managers and team members and maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with project management methodologies.
You’ll help streamline processes, monitor milestones, and ensure timely communication with stakeholders including building efficiencies and support service delivery in a fast-changing environment where priorities shift, and collaboration is key.
Provide project administration and operational support for large scale infrastructure maintenance projects and contracts. This will include monitoring and reporting on plans and deliverables as well as coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and documentation, and assist with program management tasks.
Contribute ideas for improving work practices and support a culture of continuous improvement.
This is a Hybrid role with five days a month to be spent at Newcastle office and a further five days to be spent at either the Newcastle office, or another TfNSW location.
About you
Your strong organisational skills and attention to detail, developed across administrative or project support roles working to support maintenance projects and contracts for large infrastructure projects, will help you excel in managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes.
You will be able to demonstrate your ability to communicate effectively, plan and prioritise, and apply project management principles.
You will be skilled in Microsoft Office and experienced in providing clerical and administrative support, you will bring a proactive mindset and a commitment to learning
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
Demonstrated experience in administrative and project support roles.
