Job Introduction

Your Role
We are looking for a Contract & Supplier Compliance Specialist to support the efficient and legally compliant review of supplier agreements, with a particular focus on Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), IT security requirements and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) In this role, you will work closely with Legal, Procurement, Compliance and IT Security teams across multiple FREQUENTIS legal entities. You will review contractual documentation, identify deviations from company standards, assess potential risks and coordinate necessary adjustments with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Your work will help us standardize contract review processes, identify risks at an early stage and make supplier onboarding and contract management more efficient, transparent and traceable across the FREQUENTIS Group.
Key Tasks
  • Review supplier NDAs for completeness and compliance with internal standards
  • Compare submitted agreements with FREQUENTIS standard NDA templates and identify deviations in areas such as liability, duration, scope and confidentiality obligations
  • Categorize contractual deviations according to their potential risk and recommend appropriate next steps
  • Coordinate necessary contractual adjustments with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Escalate critical deviations to Legal, Strategic Procurement, Compliance or other responsible stakeholders
  • Review IT security clauses and attachments against internal supplier security requirements
  • Identify missing, modified or non-compliant IT security provisions
  • Coordinate and, where appropriate, negotiate proposed changes with suppliers
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of the Managed Supplier Security Policy within supplier contracts
  • Create, revise and maintain contract templates and clauses in the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
  • Ensure that NDA and IT security templates in the CLM system remain accurate and up to date
  • Support the development of standardized fallback clauses and clause-level workflows
  • Document contract reviews, decisions and escalation steps to ensure transparency and auditability
  • Work closely with Legal, Procurement, Admin Hub, Compliance and IT Security teams across multiple FREQUENTIS legal entities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and standardization of supplier contract review processes
Key Qualifications
  • Experience with contract review, contract management, procurement, legal operations, compliance or a comparable field
  • Good understanding of contractual documentation, particularly NDAs and supplier agreements
  • Ability to identify and assess deviations from standard contractual clauses
  • Understanding of contractual risk and escalation principles
  • Familiarity with IT security requirements in a supplier or contractual environment
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems is a strong advantage
  • Ability to work with contract templates, clauses and standardized approval workflows
  • Experience communicating and negotiating with suppliers or external business partners
  • Ability to translate complex contractual or compliance requirements into clear and practical recommendations
  • Strong documentation and analytical skills
  • Very good command of English for working in an international environment

Employee requirements

Minimum achieved education
  • secondary school with an A-Levels equivalent

Language skills
  • English - Upper intermediate (B2) and German - Upper intermediate (B2)
