Contract Specialist Radiology RD (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Bayer is committed to delivering science for a better life by ensuring that our operations are efficient, compliant, and aligned with global standards; as a Contract & Process Manager, you play a crucial role in providing a coordinated and consistent approach to the preparation, execution, communication, and timely conclusion of contracts within our global organization; your work ensures adherence to all relevant compliance guidelines and EFPIA requirements, supporting Bayer’s mission to maintain the highest standards of integrity and operational excellence.

KEY TASKS:

  • Manage the preparation, execution, documentation, and archiving of both standard and non-standard contracts within the Contract & Process Management Team in Basel;
  • Ensure constant cross-functional coordination of operational processes, managing all phases of projects including preparation, scoping, analysis, design, implementation, and execution according to legal rules and compliance regulations;
  • Coordinate contract-related logistics, including drafting and finalizing sponsorship and grant contracts in collaboration with project leads, legal, compliance functions, and external contract partners;
  • Initiate the EFPIA process by generating and tracking activity IDs in the Crystal Data Collector (CDC) and support master data maintenance for HCPs and HCOs in respective tools;
  • Create and handle EFPIA relevant purchase orders for HCPs and HCOs via Smartbuy, ensuring the invoicing process and payments are completed;
  • Process Transfer of Value (ToV) documents according to EFPIA reporting requirements;
  • Interact with HCx for all contract types and support HCPs with travel arrangements;
  • Proactively drive process optimization and improvements in efficiency.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Academic degree (e.g., Bachelor, Berufsakademie) in the economic field or similar education;
  • Business interest preferably in contract management;
  • Confidence in the application of systems such as CLMS, LPCx, Crystal Data Collector, SAP, YourDocs, and Smartbuy;
  • Sound knowledge of global and local compliance guidelines as well as EFPIA requirements;
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with HCPs;
  • High level of reliability and a structured, result-oriented method of operation;
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-moving and international environment;
  • Team player, task-oriented, and keen on working in a cross-cultural working environment;
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
