Title: NEMT Contract Specialist
Location: Bellevue, WA
Work Schedule: Hybrid schedule Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm with some flexibility. Typically, 75% onsite and 25% remote. More onsite time may be required during training or based on business need. This position requires frequent travel within King and Snohomish Counties.

The career opportunity: The Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Contract Specialist works with Hopelink Transportation Brokerage service partners (transportation contractors) as a liaison and compliance monitor. The Contract Specialist is responsible for monitoring and auditing the service of our contracted service providers’ performance to ensure the safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation of clients. This position also works independently to facilitate the relationships between Hopelink and medical facilities; monitoring service, contractual compliance, evaluating effectiveness, troubleshooting issues and educating facility staff on the NEMT program. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, exercise sound judgment, and possess a passion for limiting barriers to healthcare access.

Hopelink is based in Redmond, Washington, with service centers and food markets in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Sno-Valley (Carnation) and Shoreline.
In addition to ongoing programs and services, Hopelink also manages several campaigns specifically geared toward helping children: End Summer Hunger helps ensure that kids on summer break have enough to eat when their school's free and reduced fee meals are not available; Kids Need School Supplies provides backpacks and back-to-school tools for kids in low-income families; and Lend a Hoping Hand provides holiday support.
Annual events include Hopelink Can Madness -- a bracketed tournament between local businesses to help stock food banks following the holidays; Farm Fresh Feast, Hopelink Neighborhood Fair, and Reaching Out Celebration at Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue.
Every year, nearly 4,000 volunteers donate over 62,000 hours; helping people and changing lives.
