CHS, Inc. is hiring a Contract Specialist, based in Bucharest, Romania, to manage commercial contracts from an administrative perspective.

The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, accountable, and highly organized professional with strong integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality. This individual will bring a strong understanding of contract administration, documentation control, and internal procedure compliance, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly with internal and external partners, and follow through to ensure contracts, confirmations, guarantees, and related records are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Tracks confirmations and enters purchase and sale contracts into the system.
  • Reviews partner risk exposure, including existing limits, quantity, and contract value.
  • Verifies APIA status and required documentation for contract preparation.
  • Drafts contracts and stock confirmation notes in physical format.
  • Routes contracts and confirmation notes for required CHS authorized signatures.
  • Follows up on contract copies and original documents, including promissory notes, and sends originals to partners via courier or mail as needed.
  • Verifies the accuracy and receipt of promissory notes in original form.
  • Ensures partners and bank accounts are correctly registered in the database.
  • Issues, records, transmits, and maintains contracts and related procedural documents.
  • Verifies contract-related costs accurately and efficiently by contract and location during system entry.
  • repares contract-related reports, including contract status, guarantees, and other required reporting.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all accessed information.
  • Complies with applicable company policies, internal procedures, local regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Supports audit readiness by ensuring documentation and activities comply with applicable procedures.
  • Reports to management on the status, development, and effectiveness of EH&S activities, as applicable.
  • Responds to requests from the direct manager, hierarchical superior, and other departments. • Responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness, legality, and timely completion of assigned duties and transmitted data. • Performs other duties as assigned in support of ongoing business activities.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Contract Administration/Management
  • Fluency in Romanian and English

Additional Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, preferred experience in JD Edwards.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess information and make objective recommendations.
  • Sound judgment, problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities, adapt to change, and perform under pressure.
  • Professional integrity, flexibility, creativity, and openness to new ideas.
