Contract Specialist – Hatch / Ma’aden (KSA)

Location: Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Hatch, in partnership with Ma'aden, is delivering major mining and infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a Contract Specialist to support the development, negotiation, and administration of contracts for EPCM projects, ensuring commercial effectiveness and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support contracting strategies and tendering activities for EPCM projects.

  • Prepare, review, negotiate, and administer construction and service contracts.

  • Manage bidder prequalification, bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.

  • Coordinate contract changes, variations, claims, and closeout activities.

  • Monitor contractor compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.

  • Maintain contract records, reporting, and contract management systems.

  • Work closely with procurement, legal, project controls, and project teams to manage contractual risks and commercial matters.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.

  • Experience in EPCM, mining, industrial, or major capital projects.

  • Strong background in contract drafting, negotiation, and administration.

  • Knowledge of commercial terms, contract risk management, and procurement processes.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Additional legal or commercial qualifications.

  • Experience with FIDIC and other industry-standard contract forms.

  • Knowledge of Saudi contracting practices and local content requirements.

  • Arabic language skills are an asset.

Jubail, Chamber of Commerce Building, Al - Shati, Fanateer.
