Job Shift: AnyThe Contract Specialist is responsible for supporting the administration, review, and compliance of contracts and subcontracts in support of the company’s government and commercial programs. This position will assist with contract lifecycle activities including review, negotiation support, compliance monitoring, and coordination with internal departments to ensure contract requirements are properly executed. The Contract Specialist will work closely with program management, finance, legal, and leadership to support operational success while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION
- Assist with administration of government contracts and subcontracts throughout the contract lifecycle
- Review and analyze contractual documents to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Support the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts, subcontracts, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and other contractual documents
- Assist with interpretation and application of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable regulations
- Coordinate with program management, finance, legal, and operational departments to ensure contract requirements are understood and executed properly
- Assist with contract modifications, change requests, and documentation updates
- Maintain contract files and ensure proper recordkeeping and documentation for audits and internal tracking
- Assist with identifying contractual risks and supporting mitigation strategies in coordination with leadership and legal counsel
- Support compliance activities related to government contracting requirements and company policies
- Provide support during audits, reviews, or requests from government agencies or internal stakeholders
- Assist with monitoring contract performance requirements and reporting obligations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of relevant experience supporting DoD contracts or subcontract administration

- - Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, and government contracting compliance requirements required

- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate across departments
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
