Job Purpose

Executes Procurement Privacy compliance activities by evaluating supplier engagements, analyzing contractual obligations involving Personal Information (PI), and determining required privacy controls, agreements, and compliance actions. Serves as a Procurement Privacy subject matter resource supporting Procurement stakeholders through risk assessment, contract review, compliance monitoring, and regulatory requirement interpretation to ensure consistent application of Procurement Privacy requirements throughout the supplier lifecycle.

Key Accountabilities

Procurement Privacy Analysis & Contract Review

  • Review supplier engagements, Statements of Work (SOWs), contracts, and supporting documentation to identify Personal Information (PI) processing activities and Procurement Privacy requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier services and business requirements to determine applicable privacy controls, contractual protections, and compliance obligations.
  • Assess contractual language and identify gaps requiring remediation or additional privacy protections.
  • Recommend appropriate privacy requirements based on established governance standards.

Compliance Assessment & Privacy Requirements Validation

  • Analyze intake submissions, DPI responses, supplier questionnaires, and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance alignment.
  • Validate consistency between procurement activities, contractual commitments, and privacy requirements.
  • Identify compliance risks, gaps, or exceptions requiring corrective actions.
  • Recommend remediation steps and compliance requirements to stakeholders

Risk Assessment & Remediation Support

  • Evaluate supplier engagements for privacy compliance risks and potential regulatory concerns.
  • Monitor identified issues through remediation and corrective action activities.
  • Collaborate with Procurement stakeholders to resolve compliance gaps.
  • Escalate high-risk or complex situations requiring management review and decision-making.

Stakeholder Advisory & Procurement Support

  • Serve as a Procurement Privacy resource for buyers, sourcing teams, business stakeholders, and supporting functions.
  • Provide guidance regarding privacy requirements, agreement obligations, and Procurement Privacy processes.
  • Communicate review outcomes, recommendations, and required actions to stakeholders.
  • Support consistent application of Procurement Privacy requirements across Procurement activities.

Reporting, Analysis & Compliance Monitoring

  • Maintain compliance records, contract inventories, and engagement tracking information.
  • Analyze compliance trends, recurring issues, and process improvement opportunities.
  • Support KPI reporting, audit readiness activities, and management reporting.
  • Contribute recommendations for process improvements based on review findings and compliance results.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience:

  • 2-6 years in Procurement, Contract Management or Risk Management

Other Job-Specific Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience reviewing contracts (SOWs, MSA, MCSA, DSSA concepts), Supplier contracts, procurement processes, compliance requirements, and preferred governance controls.
  • Experience supporting Procurement, Sourcing, or Contracting strongly preferred.

  • Escalate high-risk, complex, or unresolved compliance concerns requiring management decision-making
