Job Description

We are seeking a Contract Manufacturer Support Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of delivering innovative highest data rate, small form factor optical telecommunication solutions. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining the highest quality standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of excellence within our organization.

  • Collaborate closely with contract manufacturers to ensure seamless production processes, addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks and audits to maintain the highest standards of product quality.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to contract manufacturers, offering expertise and solutions to optimize their operations.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, leveraging your knowledge to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with contract manufacturers, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Analyze production data and identify trends or areas for optimization, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, implementing necessary measures to maintain a safe and compliant manufacturing environment.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance, to align on manufacturing strategies and goals.

Must-Have:

  • A strong foundation in optical communications, manufacturing processes and quality control practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to build strong relationships with contract manufacturers.
  • 4+ years of experience

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience in a similar role within the electronics or optics the manufacturing industry, preferably in a contract manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of telecommunication industry-specific regulations and standards, ensuring compliance throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to interpret production data for continuous improvement.
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, driving positive change within the organization.
