THIS IS NOT A TELEWORK POSITION. CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK IN THE OFFICE.
Location: 2415 N. Monroe St., Suite 400, Tallahassee, FL 32303.
Some travel may be required.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week.
Business hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST, Monday - Friday.
Salary range is $58,000–$63,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
If selected for hire, current DCF employees will be compensated in accordance with the DCF salary policy.
The incumbent is a member of the DCF DSNAP Disaster Response team and, in that capacity, may be required on short notice to perform duties and travel in support of disaster relief. During such events, incumbent may be required to work more than 8 hours per day.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
At least two years of contract management, contract administration, or purchasing experiencewith a Government Agency.

The Florida Department of Children and Families is seeking a highly qualified Contract Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of contractual agreements within the Office of Economic Self-Sufficiency. This includes drafting, coordinating, executing, and monitoring contracts to ensure the effective and compliant use of state and federal funds. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Responsibilities also include providing expert-level contract support to leadership and stakeholders, maintaining alignment with all applicable laws and regulations, and exercising sound judgment in contract or procurement-related decisions. The incumbent also serves as a lead worker for team assignments, process improvements, special projects, and training.
