Working from our Melbourne Office in the World Trade Centre on Wurundjeri land, you'll join our Corporate team, the central hub of Thales Australia, partnering closely with our Explosive Ordnance Systems (EOS) business to help deliver critical Defence outcomes across the country.
Our EOS team enables the Australian Defence Force through the storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of explosive ordnance systems, providing end-to-end support that is essential to Australia's Defence capability.
As part of this mission, you'll play a key role in ensuring commercial certainty, managing complex contractual relationships and protecting the successful delivery of nationally significant programs.
Sitting at the intersection of operations, customers, subcontractors and corporate functions, you'll influence major commercial decisions, navigate complex risk environments and help drive outcomes that support both business performance and Defence readiness.
Your role purpose will be –
On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience and behaviours:
The U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) are applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
A NV1 Defence security clearance is required for this role; applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an appropriate clearance.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role.The Australian Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA) is applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.Prior to being offered employment, you will need to complete pre-employment police and (role dependent) medical checks.
