About The Role

As our Contract Manager, you will oversee all aspects of turf and garden maintenance across our facilities, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and service delivery. You will also play a key role in developing and supporting teams, driving performance, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Reporting to the State Manager, you will work closely with both clients and internal stakeholders to ensure contracts are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Your strong leadership, organisational skills, and industry expertise will be essential in achieving successful outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will have a solid background in turf management, along with proven experience leading teams, managing priorities, and consistently delivering high-quality results. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are also essential, as you will be working with people at all levels of the business and client organisations.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure ongoing improvement to client grounds and gardens is identified and carried out
• Ensure quotes for clients are prepared within the time frame agreed with the client
• Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of contracts
• Lead, guide and mentor turf & horticultural staff
• Ensure all employees in their teams are inducted and receive ongoing on-the-job training
• Relationship building and customer relationship management

About You

• Certificate III Sports Turf Management desired
• Valid Driver’s licence (C Class Manual)
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Working with Children’s Check and National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
