We are seeking a motivated and innovative Contracts Manager to join our team. You will manage the safe and efficient operational delivery of contractual service levels within our Cheshire portfolio of energy customer contracts, including the Alderley Park and Bespak Operations Teams. This role offers the opportunity to deliver strong operational and financial performance within budget whilst maintaining high levels of customer service and team engagement.

What you'll be doing:
Lead and manage a team of 8 direct reports, ensuring efficient utilisation of labour and materials to deliver service excellence in accordance with customer expectations.
Operate and control plants in a safe, efficient and consistent manner, ensuring Veolia's legal compliance in Health and Safety, Environmental Agency, HSE regulations, Duty of Care, and Site licences.
Manage budgets of approximately £2 million revenue, operating within agreed financial parameters and achieving targets and compliance to KPI's within contractual agreements.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, providing advice on opportunities, best practices, legal and environmental compliance whilst representing the company's image and reputation to maximum effect.
Maintain consistent and cost effective energy production (steam, electricity and LTHW), whilst developing innovative solutions and driving continuous improvement across operations.
What we're looking for:
Time served in a recognised engineering apprenticeship and qualified to HNC/HND in an Engineering discipline.
Relevant safety qualification (e.g. IOSH) in engineering/operational environment with previous working knowledge of boiler plants, water treatment plants and proven knowledge of CHP.
Experience of delivering multi-faceted service delivery to include Utilities and Facilities Management (Hard Services).
Solid operational experience of working within a challenging customer focused environment with a proven record of successfully delivering to Contract KPI's.
Good numeracy, analytical and IT skills with excellent organisational, planning, communication and interpersonal skills.
Business acumen and financial management proficiency with the ability to make informed decisions and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
