What You'll Do

As a Contract Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the organization's purchasing and contract management efforts by:

  • Managing vendor contracts from renewal through implementation.
  • Coordinating contract renewals and maintaining accurate electronic contract records.
  • Benchmarking contract proposals and performing pricing analysis.
  • Negotiating favorable pricing and contract terms with vendors.
  • Tracking and reporting cost savings and operational improvements.
  • Managing purchase orders, account ledgers, and contract documentation.
  • Researching vendors, products, and services to support departmental initiatives.
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for vendor and service inquiries.
  • Preparing reports, correspondence, meeting minutes, and other department documentation.
  • Supporting department technology and database systems while ensuring accurate and timely data management.

What We're Looking For

Education

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

  • Associate degree (A.A.S.)
  • Additional training in computerized management systems

Experience & Skills

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication
  • Exceptional customer service experience
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision

Preferred:

  • Typing speed of 50–60 WPM
  • Experience with databases, data entry, reporting, and mathematical analysis, including basic algebra and relational database systems.
