Cintas is seeking a Contract Compliance Manager I to be responsible for reviewing contracts submitted to the Contract Compliance team, with a focus on agreements aligned with established standard terms and conditions, to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures. This role identifies and escalates non-standard terms and ensures that all required approvals are obtained. You will partner with Sales to provide guidance throughout contract development and negotiation, facilitates the execution of contracts, and maintains accurate and complete documentation of approvals and fully executed agreements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, draft, redline, and support negotiation of contracts submitted to the Contract Compliance team, with a focus on agreements aligned to standard terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Identify, evaluate, and escalate non-standard terms, conditions, and risk elements requiring additional review.
  • Partner with assigned Sales teams (supporting two to three regions or verticals) to provide guidance throughout contract development and negotiations, ensuring alignment with internal policies and optimal business outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on Cintas’ standard terms and approved alternative provisions to facilitate compliant and efficient deal structuring.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and other internal compliance teams to support contract review processes.
  • Ensure all required approvals are obtained in accordance with internal policies and procedures, including communicating with executive-level partners as needed.
  • Manage multiple contracts and competing deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and strong attention to detail when reviewing complex documents.
  • Facilitate contract execution and maintain organized, accurate records of approvals and fully executed agreements in accordance with recordkeeping standards.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • One to three years of related experience, with working knowledge of sales, project management, or account management within corporate or national accounts, healthcare, hospitality, or gaming environments
  • Experience working with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems
  • Experience in Rental, First Aid, and/or Fire Protection
