Job Description

Reporting primarily to the Associate Director of Finance, the Contract Assistant Accountant works closely with the Finance team and is responsible for supporting all aspects of accounting operations, including but not limited to accounts receivable, retail and online sales accounting, expenses booking, and more. This role also assists the Senior Manager, Planning and Analysis, with designated Financial Planning and Analysis tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle revenue reporting for online and retail store sales channels
• Administer the accounting system (SUN Accounts) and ensure synchronization with the ERP platform (Microsoft Business Central)
• Ensure all transactions are properly posted to the accounting system in a timely manner
• Support balance sheet analysis and follow up with relevant parties
• Safeguard all account documents and maintain the filing log sheet
• Assist with both internal and external audits by preparing all necessary documents
• Support ad-hoc tasks related to financial planning and analysis, including data extraction, drilling down, analysis, and report updates/checking

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; experience in the Retail and FMCG industries is advantageous
• Strong command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy
• Ability to work effectively with strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of SUN Accounts and Microsoft Business Central is a plus
