Our common goal

As a Contract Area Manager, you are responsible for the sales of our brands Vitra and Artek within the professional contract segment. The role includes shared responsibility for Stockholm as well as sole responsibility for Gothenburg and northern Sweden. The position is based at our showroom in Södermalm, Stockholm.

Your main task is to develop and drive sales by actively working with resellers, architects, project managers, and end customers, in line with the company’s strategy and growth goals. You will work closely with colleagues in a team-oriented setting, while also holding your own budget and profit responsibility for your accounts. You report directly to the Head of Contract.

The role involves travel within Sweden and internationally, including participation at trade fairs and visits to the Vitra Campus in Germany, the headquarters in Switzerland, and Artek in Finland. To succeed in this role, you need the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships, act swiftly in customer dialogue, and serve as both a reliable and inspiring advisor.

How you can convince

  • At least five years of experience in project-based sales to resellers, architects, and end customers
  • A well-established network and strong knowledge of the interior design and furniture industry
  • Ability to balance quick deals and long-term projects in a varied workday
  • Structured and goal-oriented working style with excellent communication skills
  • Relevant post-secondary education
  • Confidence in delivering professional presentations
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel 5–10 days per month
