Contract Analyst I - India, Bangalore - Hybrid, Office-based

We are seeking a Contract Analyst I to join our diverse and dynamic Client Contract Services (CCS) Team at ICON. In this role, you will play a key part in managing the budgeting and drafting of Contracts and Change Orders. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, maintain strong client relationships, and monitor the progress of contract and change order execution.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Prepare budgets for contracts and change orders, and draft the associated contract documents.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Sales, Operations, and Contract Managers.
  • Use ICON costing tools and budget templates to prepare accurate budgets.
  • Gather input from operational teams and ensure terms reflect cost drivers.
  • Create payment schedules and support budget/financial analysis.
  • Maintain documentation and update Salesforce consistently.
  • Communicate contract status to internal teams and clients.
  • Assist or lead meetings related to contracts/change orders.
  • Perform initial quality checks on documents.
  • Support process improvement initiatives.

Your Profile / Prior Experience

  • 2–3 years’ experience in clinical or laboratory budget and contract development
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with cross‑functional teams (Legal, Sales, Operations, Finance).
  • Basic financial/budget analysis skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and process‑improvement oriented.
