A Day in the Life

Reporting directly to the Sr. Supervisor Meeting Planning Western Europe of Cardiac Rhythm Management, you support the creation and the management of physician’s contract in view of their participation in medical programs, such as physician advisory boards, scientific and educational symposia, educational courses, and various Medtronic organized events for external audiences across Europe.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Manage physician contracts. Ensure accurate supporting documentation of consulting services and in strict adherence to compliance, country laws and Medtronic policy.
  • Process honorarium payments to health care professionals for all executed consultancy duties.
  • Advise management of contractual rights and obligations; compile and analyze data.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to plan future interactions in a timely manner to perform all administrative steps including signatures and approvals.
  • In close collaboration with the project coordinators team, you maintain all updates in the event tracker with HCP fees, expenses, and status of contact.
  • Make adjustments or recommend enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve effectiveness of job area.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Education & Experience: University degree preferred, with 2–5 years of experience in contract management or related activities in a multicultural environment, demonstrating strong compliance with procedures and regulations.
  • Stakeholder & Communication Skills: Proven ability to interact effectively with senior internal and external stakeholders, exercising tact, diplomacy, discretion, and maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Work Style & Execution: Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented, able to take initiative and apply independent judgment to manage contracts and meetings on time and within budget, while thriving in a fast‑paced environment with high attention to detail.
  • Collaboration & Cultural Awareness: Strong team player who can also work independently, showing empathy and understanding when working with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Problem Solving & Agility: Excellent anticipation, planning, problem‑solving, multitasking, and adaptability to change, with a customer‑centric mindset and the ability to act as a trusted business partner.
  • Technical & Language Skills: Comfortable using IT tools (MS Office required); knowledge of approval and payment systems is a plus. Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are welcomed.

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik: Czechia: 672,000.00 CZK - 1,008,000.00 CZK | This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
