An experienced Contract Advisor is required to support infrastructure-related projects involving Dynamic Traffic Management Systems (DTM) and Public Lighting (PL). The role focuses on contract management within framework agreements for installation, replacement, and maintenance projects across the Netherlands.
The Contract Advisor works closely with technical, environmental, and project management teams and acts as the primary point of contact for contractors. The position includes supporting contract management processes, risk management activities, change management procedures, and system-oriented contract control.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage contract management activities under framework agreements
- Advise the contract manager by providing analyses, alternatives, and solution directions
- Coordinate and complete contract change management processes
- Participate in contractor progress meetings and procurement discussions
- Contribute to risk management sessions and support assessment preparation
- Support system-oriented contract management activities
- Prepare requests for performance statements
- Ensure accurate document management and archiving
- Collaborate with technical, environmental, and project management advisors
- Maintain effective communication with contractors and project stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
- HBO (Higher Professional Education) working and thinking level
- Minimum 1 year of experience within Integrated Project Management environments
- Knowledge and experience with D&C contract models
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role with knowledge of:
- UAV-GC
- ISO 9001
- SCB
- Auditing processes
- Demonstrable knowledge of Systems Engineering
- Experience with contract management and risk management processes
- Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in an advisory role within infrastructure or technical projects
- Experience with Relatics / GRIP
- Knowledge of project control methodologies
- Experience supporting contractor management activities
