As a Contract Administrator within a water sector consultancy, you will play a key role in supporting the management of contracts related to advisory, environmental services, and engineering projects across multiple Adler & Allan companies. You will ensure that contracts are effectively drafted, reviewed, negotiated, tracked, and administered in accordance with internal governance requirements, legal and regulatory obligations and client expectations. The role will support a broad range of contractual arrangements, including NEC contracts, framework agreements, call-off contracts, purchase orders, subconsultancy agreements, and secondee agreements commonly used throughout the in the UK water, gas and power industry.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to identify, assess, and escalate contractual risks and compliance issues, helping project teams implement appropriate mitigation measures whilst negotiating with the client. The candidate will be proactive and solutions-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They should be a confident communicator capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The successful candidate will also support the continued development and improvement of contract management processes, including the transition and maintenance of contract records within the FastDraft contract management system to ensure robust governance, visibility and reporting across the business
