Join Fulton Hogan in Gisborne as a Contracts Administrator and play a key role in our Contracting division, supporting contract and project delivery across a range of clients and work types.
You’ll sit at the heart of our contracting team – driving the admin, reporting, and performance tracking that keeps quality, safety, and efficiency front and centre. Your work will support real outcomes for our people, our clients, and our community.

Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities
Manage contract and commercial administration, including variations, claims support, registers and accurate record-keeping of correspondence, approvals and changes.
Raise, code, approve and track purchase orders, ensuring they are correctly matched to invoices and accurately reported.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, registers and filing systems, supporting both financial and operational reporting.
Liaise daily with internal and external stakeholders and clients to support effective communication, smooth project delivery and adherence to contract requirements.
Provide high-quality administrative support to project managers, commercial teams and operational teams across all contract and project activities.
Assist with payroll and finance administration, including data entry, reconciliations, approvals and asset record maintenance as required.
Support compliance activities, including drug testing processes and reporting, and ensure adherence to company policies, procedures and health and safety requirements.

Strong communication and stakeholder skills, with a professional manner, collaborative attitude and proven customer service focus.
Excellent planning, organisation and time management, with high attention to detail and the ability to stay effective under pressure.
Solid computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, email and internet) and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes (e.g. Xero, Workflow Max, JDE, EROAD or similar).
Experience administering contracts, including variations, registers, claims support, purchase orders and related documentation.
Experience preparing reports, meeting minutes and project documentation, and supporting commercial or project teams with evidence gathering and variation processes.
Experience liaising daily with internal teams, external stakeholders and clients, supporting project managers and operational teams to ensure smooth workflow and delivery.
Experience in payroll administration, basic asset management and general finance administration (including reporting and drug testing support).
A current Class 1 driver’s licence.
