The opportunity

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business is seeking a Contract Administrator to support our Power & Gas operations. This role is focused on accurate job setup, job costing, claims and invoicing to ensure Downer meets its contractual and revenue targets.

Reporting to the Operational and Delivery Manager, you will work closely with the wider team to keep the daily operations moving smoothly.

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual who is eager to learn and grow in this diverse role. Full training will be provided for the right person with a positive attitude.

• Experience in contract administration, job costing or commercial support
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Experience using large ERP systems (JDE highly regarded)
• Ability to prepare claims and invoices accurately and on time
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with operational teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
