This means we’re changing how we do risk management, creating a team of risk specialists, and providing support aligned to our risk and control owners to deliver great customer outcomes.
We’reintroducing a local team in LTC who willprovide services to the Conduct,Complianceand Operational Risk,and GCOO IT Systems and Security Risk Specialistteamsin the Group’s UK-based Ringfenced Bank (RFB). Thenewroles will report directly to a local LTC line manager who will be accountable for the team’s performance. RFB UK will provide direction on activities and priorities.
We’relooking for anLTCAssistant Managertoprovide services toourUKteamtosupport the timely and accurate production of high-quality analysis and evaluation of theLBG’sOperational Risk and Control environment in alignment with our Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF)and Operational Risk Management Toolkit You’ll also work closely with our Insurable Risks team members to help analyse the Group’s corporate insurance requirements in relation to our Property & Casualty and Financial Lines.

Key Accountabilities:
Workingunder the direction ofourRFB UKOperational Risk specialistsyou will
Buildstrongservicerelationships with internal partners in 1stand 2ndlines of defence, and support theUKteamas they provideanauthoritativeanalyticalLBG view on Operational Risk Management practices
Support theUK team in itsdesign and implementation of Operational Risk Management analytical tooling.
Adopt a data-led approach tohelp theUKteamfacilitate the understanding and adherence of compliant operational risk management practices throughout the organisation, including ongoing management and continuous monitoring of metrics and indicators, andcompletingthematic reviews.
Adopt a range of techniques to deliver prescribed analytical outcomes which inform Operational Risk Specialist decision-making and contribute to the function and wider business.
Report findings and deviations in a clear, accurate and compelling way tothe UK team, focusing on action needed and opportunities presented
Provide services that support chief controls officesandrisk specialists to implement improvements that are designed to drive enhanced operational risk management practices.
Provideservicesthat support theUK team’soversight and challenge of each Business Unit’sand Risk Category’s operational risk management practices, and play a role in the accurate reporting to governance committees andexecutive audiences.
Continuously developowndata analytical competency to provide cutting-edgeservicesin our data-led approaches, includingleveraging the power ofpredictive analytics.
What you'll need!
The ability to demonstrate the following skills & behaviours:
Expert proficiencyin data analytics and some experience in risk management, preferably operational risk management
Technical proficiency in analytical and visualisationinPowerBI,Dax andSQL
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality analysis and products at pace
Ability to make sense of ‘the detail’ quickly, and communicate this in a clear, simple, and engaging manner
Actively exhibit and promote the LBG Values and bring them into all work. Participation in the wider enrichment of CCOR, and the wider Group, to build a wonderful place to work
Useful to have:
Experience of‘Open Pages’ risk management system
Experience in Python.
Expertise inpredictive analytics, machine learningand GenAItooling
