The opportunity

Hitachi Energy, for our Transformers Business Unit, is looking for a Continuous Improvement Wharehouse Specialist, based in our factory in Córdoba. This role is focused on driving continuous improvement initiatives in warehouse operations, internal logistics, and material flow, with a strong emphasis on inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead improvement projects related to warehouse management, material replenishment, and logistics processes.

  • Implement and optimize the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) methodology to ensure accurate and efficient inventory and material handling.

  • Support Just-in-Time (JIT) delivery, Kanban systems, and waste reduction initiatives.

  • Ensure materials are available at the right time and place to minimize downtime and improve operational flow.

  • Analyze logistics data to identify improvement opportunities and define actionable plans.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and factory leadership to align on priorities and execution.

  • Drive improvements in key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and material availability.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, internal logistics, material replenishment, or continuous improvement in industrial environments.

  • Hands-on experience with PFEP, Kanban, JIT, and material flow optimization.

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (L6S) is a plus.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to lead initiatives across teams without direct authority.

  • Fluent in English and willing to travel up to 50%.
