The hourly rate for this position is $27.30 per hour. The hours for this shift are 6:30 am - 2:30 pm.

Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a CI Coordinator 1st shift to join our team. This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility.
The CI Coordinator is responsible for ensuring plant level Continuous Improvement programs, policies, procedures and systems are developed, implemented and sustained. In this role, you will help schedule and lead Kaizen events to drive improvements in the front-office and shop processes that will impact employee safety, productivity, product delivery performance, cost and factory margins.

• You will provide a wide variety of administrative and staff support services. This includes assisting in the preparation of the following activities – current/future value stream map creation, 5S+ checklist/audits, standard work/time studies, line balancing and work instructions
• You will support the plant continuous improvement frameworks
• You will assist and support ELSS and OpA action items and facilitate ELSS training to plant personnel
• You will Lead/Co-lead kaizen events comprised of multi-functional team members
• You will lead the implementation of visual controls throughout the plant including floor marking, tier board, labeling, shadow boards, continuous improvement boards and communication boards
• You will assist with defining and requesting tooling and equipment as needed
• You will work with maintenance and issue work orders as needed
• You will assist manufacturing engineers and production supervisors as needed
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing environment is required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with participating RIE’s/Kaizen and other CI Activities in manufacturing environment.
