Job Summary

OMCO, a MacLean-Fogg Company, is seeking a Continuous Improvement Supervisor in Pierceton, Indiana, to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and strengthen manufacturing processes. In this role, you will coordinate Lean and Kaizen initiatives, analyze performance data, and collaborate with teams across the organization to implement practical, measurable improvements. You'll help build a culture of continuous improvement through hands-on projects, employee engagement, and process improvement training.

  • Pay: $90,000–$100,000/year + Bonus

What You'll Do as a Continuous Improvement Supervisor

  • Analyze manufacturing workflows, daily operations, and performance metrics to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and uncover opportunities for process improvement.
  • Recommend and implement practical process enhancements using Lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and data-driven problem-solving techniques.
  • Support the development of Kaizen improvement roadmaps, establish project milestones, and coordinate cross-functional improvement activities aligned with operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with department leaders and team members to identify improvement priorities, coordinate resources, and implement approved process changes that improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
  • Facilitate introductory training on Lean and Six Sigma concepts, engage employees in improvement activities, and encourage team participation in continuous improvement efforts.
  • Monitor the implementation and short-term effectiveness of process changes, address operational challenges, make necessary adjustments, and escalate significant issues when appropriate.
  • Develop, track, and analyze key performance indicators to evaluate efficiency gains, cost savings, quality improvements, and overall project effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate improvement project records, communicate results to stakeholders, and contribute to procedural updates and ongoing operational improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with employees, department leaders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Statistical analysis and data interpretation skills to evaluate operational performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Project management skills to coordinate improvement activities, monitor progress, and support timely implementation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and engage stakeholders across different functional areas.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean, Six Sigma, or a related continuous improvement certification.
