As a CI Specialist, you will act as a key driver of Continuous Improvement across the plant, leading the development and deployment of a robust CI strategy, with a strong focus on ELSS initiatives and overall coordination of improvement efforts.


You will play a critical role in enhancing operational performance by driving the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), reducing waste, improving lead times, and embedding Lean methodologies into daily operations. Through the facilitation of Kaizen events and hands-on application of CI tools, you will support all areas of the plant in achieving sustainable results and operational excellence.


This position sits at the intersection of Lean transformation, performance optimization, and cultural change, within a dynamic and international manufacturing environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive Continuous Improvement Strategy & Execution Partner with plant leadership to define and execute the Continuous Improvement strategy, including deployment of the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), alignment with top-down objectives, and delivery of measurable results.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Performance & Alignment Define, monitor, and drive Continuous Improvement (ELSS) team targets in alignment with plant and departmental goals.
  • Deploy Lean & Six Sigma Methodologies Lead the implementation of Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) tools across the plant, ensuring consistent and effective application to improve performance.
  • Facilitate Improvement Initiatives Lead and facilitate Kaizen events, Rapid Improvement Events (RIE), and business process improvement projects to deliver both short-term gains and long-term transformation.
  • Drive Industry 4.0 & Digitalization Initiatives Support and lead the deployment of Industry 4.0 solutions and digital tools within the plant, leveraging data, automation, and connected systems to improve performance, decision-making, and process efficiency.
  • Develop Continuous Improvement Capabilities & Training Assess training needs and design development plans; train employees on Lean, Problem Solving, Six Sigma, and DFSS methodologies to build internal capabilities.
  • Coach and Mentor Teams Mentor and support employees and teams in adopting, applying, and sustaining continuous improvement and digital practices across all functions.
  • Drive Plant Performance Through Continuous Improvement Governance Lead the plant Continuous Improvement Council, driving improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, Inventory, and Cost using ELSS methodologies.
  • Enhance Operational Efficiency Oversee production methods and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen operational performance, including deployment of VAVE, employee suggestion systems, and digital solutions.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement Assessments & Culture Deployment Conduct ELSS and OpA assessments, coordinate related actions, and champion key programs such as Zero Incident Culture (ZIC), EQMS (Problem Solving Policy), and a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineer;
  • 3 to 5 years in a similar role.

Skills:

  • Continuous improvement & project management Experience improving processes in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to manage projects and deliver results; knowledge of Lean tools and some exposure to Six Sigma.
  • Coaching, teamwork & influence Ability to support, guide, and motivate others, work effectively across teams, and influence stakeholders even without direct authority.
  • Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact clearly with people at all levels, from shop floor to management.
  • Autonomy & organization Self-motivated, well-organized, and able to manage time, priorities, and decisions independently.
  • Technical tools & certification Comfortable with engineering or production-related tools; Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
