Position Summary
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator will support project teams in completing key elements of various operations strategic initiatives at our branch locations. While at branch locations the coordinator will complete tasks required to move the initiative(s) forward working directly with branch teams, creating standard work for completing tasks, and taking direction from of the CI Project Manager
Principle Accountabilities
- Coordinates all aspects of the project with branch teams while at branch locations
- Develops Standard Work processes and trains branch team(s) to complete the identified tasks
- Tracks and reports project progress ensuring deliverables fall within the project scope and schedule
- Completes additional tasks as identified during the project
- Prepares weekly updates for CI and Operations teams to communicate project status and identify opportunities
- Motivates, encourages, and coaches employees in the consistent use of continuous improvement principles

QualificationsPosition Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a passion for continuous improvement, have a strong desire to uncover leading edge technologies, and implement technological solutions to improve our operations processes. Other desired qualifications include:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Industrial / Mechanical / Mechanical) - Desired
- Exposure to Continuous Improvement Principles
- Strong curiosity of how to use technology to improve operational processes
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Email, Spreadsheet, Word, Project)
- Working knowledge of Precast products – Desired
- Willingness to travel
- Goal oriented and able to complete projects on time
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy as well as a member of a team
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
- Results driven
