The role:
As a Continuous Improvement Manufacturing Engineer, you will help drive our goals by:
Working both alone and with leadership support, identifying, facilitating, and project managing continuous improvement projects throughout the business
To ensure that the safety and well-being of yourself and your colleagues and the constraints of our Regulatory permits and licences are given priority over all else in your area of contribution
To support and develop production systems, both digital and physical
Implement data analysis and visualisation tools including Tableau & PowerBI
Deliver coaching on data management strategies and foundation lean tools to all levels of the organisation to create a culture of continuous improvement meeting our Operational Excellence requirements
Analyse production data to identify opportunity within the organisation
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role
Continuous Improvement activity experience within workplace environment
A degree in Manufacturing Systems, Engineering, Science or similar or relevant experience
Experience of using a problem-solving process using proven root cause analysis would be an advantage
Experience or education in IT systems commonly used in Operations and Management environments would be advantageous
Experience of deploying improvement projects and managing the process through to completion
